The Arts Institute offers the exchange residental stays for visual artists, scenographers, musicians, dancers etc. several times during a year. Some of the partnership residence centres are continuously permutated. Arts institute mostly covers costs connected with the stay of foreign artist in the Czech republic, exceptionally also cofinance the stay of Czech artist in abroad(f.e. Mexico, Portugal, Germany). Arts institute also offers residental stays for visual artists and scenographers in the studio of the Egon Schiele Art Centrum in Český Krumlov. The Guild is a voluntary association of Czech translators of belles lettres as well as translation theorists, critics, historians and scholars. The role of the Guild is to protect the rights and professional interests of its members and promote the prestige of literary translation and its position in Czech culture. The Guild systematically follows literary translations published in the Czech Republic and in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and the Czech Literature Foundation awards the annual prestigious Josef Jungmann Prize and a number of awards of merit to best translations of the year. As an inter-state institution, the Czech-German Fund for the Future is a concrete result of the Czech-German Declaration. Both governments signed its statutes on December 29, 1997, thus establishing it as a foundation fund under Czech law with its registered office in Prague.
