Centrální evidence sbírek (CES) / Central Registry of Museum-Type Collections

The Central Registry of Museum-type Collections (CES) is a publicly accessible list of collections, inscribed by the Ministry of Culture, indicating how rich this part of the nation's movable cultural heritage is. The registry includes collections all collections (owned by the State, the regional and local municipalities), whose managers were obliged ex lege to apply for registration of the collections in the Central Register of Collections (CES). The registry also includes other collections owned by legal entities and individuals, provided that the owners decided to have them inscribed. Website only in Czech.
