Cultural festival in Moravian city Boskovice is focused on saving and restoring of local Jewish quarter. Every year, Cinema Mundi IFF offers an opportunity to see the best feature films from the whole world made in the past season. Within it´s main section, it presents seven days of films from about 60 national cinemas competing for Oscar nomination in the category of Best Foreign Language Film . The festival thus offers encounters of traditional strong cinemas and often unjustly underestimated and neglected cinemas of area sometimes referred to as the third world.
