The Multiplace is a net of people and organizations, which are interested in the media and technologies interaction with art, culture and society. There is held the annual festival in several cities and towns. The festival takes place in spring,in April, takes 10 days and offers about one hundred of concerts, performances, workshops, exhibitions, lectures, discussions and others events. Festival Babí léto Bohnice / Babí Léto Bohnice Festival
The annual cultural event, Babí léto (Indian Summer), is organized in connection with National Mental Health Week and takes place on the grounds of the Bohnice Psychiatric Health Facility in Prague 8. In addition to musical concerts, theatre performances, art workshops for children and adults, the festival organizes a chess tournament and other attractions. Cultural festival in Moravian city Boskovice is focused on saving and restoring of local Jewish quarter. There are many musical groups of different genres – rock, jazz, classical and folk music – and many theatre performances and movie shows are taken place. Exhibitions are also part of the festival. CESTA is an international not-for-profit center established to foster cultural understanding and tolerance through the arts. Since 1993, CESTA has concentrated its efforts on international arts festivals, community projects, group exchanges, residencies, and the development of an informational global network for artists in all fields of artistic expression and cultural production. The aim of the residence program is to open CESTA's resources to performing and visual artists. They may not only find a place where they can work with focus and intention, but also where they may participate in and add to the artistic and intellectual exchange and network that CESTA has created. Foreigners in Bohemia has been systematically presenting, cataloguing and supporting non-commercial works by foreign artists residing in Bohemia since 2002. The project has been running by Theatre 29. The aim is to foster long term creative collaboration between them and Czech artists.
