Techné Ostrava is an International Festival of Films and TV Documentaries on Industrial and Technical Monuments. The aim of the festival is to inform both experts and the general public about the possibilities and results of conservation and protection of industrial and technical monuments in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. The festival also includes specialized seminars, meetings and discussions, excursions for experts and students to technical museums in the Ostrava region and in Poland linked to industrial historical monuments of these areas.  Website in Czech, English and Polish.
